Are you experiencing problems with your hair?  You can bring life back to your hair through without applying any products at all. Yoga offers a natural solution to enhance and nourish your locks. It helps to rejuvenate and nourish your hair follicles.

The following yoga poses work best at preventing hair loss and enabling hair growth.

Downward Dog

Begin in a table position, straightening your elbows and knees. Pull in your abdominal muscles and move your hips upward, creating an upside down V shape. Maintain a shoulder and hip width distance between these parts. Press your palms and extend your neck. Keep this posture through several breaths. Downward dog increases blood circulation, enabling blood flow to the scalp region.

Diamond Pose

Bend at your knees and sit down on your bottom, position your feet close together and intertwine your toes. Be sure to be seated such that your neck and spine are straight. Place the palms of your hands onto your knees and close your eyes. Hold this position for about ten minutes, breathing deeply and regularly. The Diamond Pose can also help in treating constipation and reducing obesity. It also alleviates stress and promotes mental stability.

Standing Forward Bend

Start in Mountain pose, standing straight with your feet hip distance apart. Extend your spine as you breathe in, keeping your palms on your hips. Bend forward at your hips, bending your knees slightly to prevent any back strain. Allow your arms and head to hang freely. Touch the floor with your fingertips. Position all of your weight onto the balls of your feet. Remain in this position for several breaths, then gently leave the pose. Standing forward bend promotes a sense of calm, alleviates headaches, relieves insomnia and energizes your head region.

Head Stand Pose

Intertwine your fingers, forming a cup with your palms. Bend forward, placing the crown of your head on the cup you have created. Gently raise your knees. Pull your toes toward your head, slowly lifting your legs upward. Once you are in a stable position, straighten yourself, maintain your equilibrium and keep your spine straight. Relax and breathe deeply. Hold the position for several moments. Headstand pose promotes mental calmness and alleviates stress. It also increases the flow of blood to your scalp, strengthens your core muscles and nourishes your brain.

Camel Pose

Kneel down on your yoga mat, placing your hands onto your hips. Keep the soles of your feet facing toward the ceiling and your knees shoulder-width apart. Lift your tailbone toward your pubis as you inhale, arching your back as you do so. Position your palms on your feet as you straighten your arms. Maintain a neutral position with your neck. Hold this position for about a minute. Camel pose helps to improve your posture, alleviate stress, relieve tension and improve digestion.

Wind Relieving Pose

Lie down on your back. Extend your legs and arms. Bring your knees toward your chest as you exhale, holding them with your hands. Loosen and extend your left knee while you continue to hold your right one. Move the left knee back to its position near your chest, holding your hands around both knees. Loosen and extend the right knee while you continue to hold the left knee. Hold these positions for several breaths. Wind Relieving pose reduces lower back tension and abdominal fat while strengthening your abdominal muscles. It also allows for better blood flow to your organs.
